About the Role: The Corrugator Downstacker on the 2nd shift plays a critical role in the efficient operation of our corrugator production line within the non-durable goods manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for safely and accurately removing and stacking finished corrugated board sheets as they exit the corrugator machine, ensuring continuous workflow and minimizing downtime. Position Summary: Landmark Builders is seeking a Civil Engineer – Commercial Construction to join our Winston-Salem, NC office and serve as a key technical resource across Landmark’s commercial construction projects. This position will work closely with preconstruction, project management, field operations, survey teams, clients, consultants, and municipalities to provide civil engineering expertise from initial site evaluation and project pursuit through construction. The Civil Engineer will take ownership of site and civil engineering activities, helping Landmark evaluate development opportunities, identify project risks, develop practical and cost-effective solutions, and ensure civil design decisions translate successfully into the field. This is an opportunity for an experienced civil engineer who wants to work inside a commercial construction organization and have a direct impact on how projects are evaluated, designed, priced, and built. Key Responsibilities: Site & Civil Engineering Lead civil engineering and site development efforts for prospective and contracted commercial construction projects. Perform site feasibility, due diligence, and constructability analysis to evaluate development opportunities, site constraints, and potential risks. Coordinate survey, topographic, and site data collection services. Develop, review, and modify civil/site plans, including site layout and development, grading and drainage, erosion and sediment control, utilities, stormwater management, and landscaping and site improvements. Perform and review technical engineering calculations, design analyses, and stormwater modeling. Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop and review civil engineering plans. Review existing site conditions and identify potential engineering and construction challenges. Provide technical engineering recommendations and develop practical, constructible solutions. Preconstruction & Project Development Partner closely with Landmark’s preconstruction team during project pursuits, conceptual design, estimating, budgeting, and development. Evaluate civil/site-related costs, risks, opportunities, and constraints that may impact project feasibility and budget. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost-effective site solutions. Review civil plans and development concepts for constructability, accuracy, and coordination. Assist in evaluating alternate site designs and development approaches. Participate in project pursuits and provide civil engineering expertise during client and design-team discussions. Help identify permitting, utility, grading, stormwater, and site development requirements early in the project lifecycle. Construction & Field Support Provide civil engineering support throughout construction. Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to resolve site, grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater issues. Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate field conditions and provide engineering recommendations. Review civil-related RFIs, submittals, design revisions, and other technical project documentation. Assist project teams with interpretation of civil plans and resolution of discrepancies between design documents and field conditions. Support field teams in developing solutions that are technically sound, practical, and constructible. Coordinate with engineers, architects, surveyors, subcontractors, owners, municipalities, and other project stakeholders. Assist with permitting and regulatory coordination as required. Technical Leadership & Coordination Serve as a trusted civil engineering resource for Landmark’s preconstruction, project management, and field teams. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced engineering and CAD team members. Establish and promote best practices related to civil/site development and constructability. Help develop and improve Landmark’s internal civil engineering standards, processes, and resources. Represent Landmark professionally when working with clients, consultants, regulatory agencies, and project partners. Qualifications: Experience & Technical Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required. 8+ years of progressive civil engineering and site/land development experience preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with commercial site development and land development projects. Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience with stormwater modeling and related civil engineering software. Strong technical knowledge of grading and drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion and sediment control, site development, land development, and construction documentation. Experience coordinating with surveyors, architects, engineers, contractors, municipalities, owners, and other project stakeholders. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and constructability. Leadership & Interpersonal Skills Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines. PT Firefighter

Description: The Gibsonville Fire Department is seeking at least one part-time firefighter. The selected applicants will typically work 24-hour shifts and occasionally fill in where needed on other days. Candidates must be 19 years of age or older.
