Position Summary: The Creeler is primarily responsible for creeling assigned yarns on correct knitting machines in an efficient and safe manner. Position Responsibilities: Creeler will creel twelve (12) machines total. Keep yarn from being damaged while transferring from yarn boxes to yarn pin trucks. Stack yarn on yarn pin trucks only one layer above top row of pins. Creelers are responsible for removing empty cones and breaking down yarn boxes. Follow all safety procedures/policies and advise management of any unsafe conditions. Keep work area neat and clean. Perform other duties as assigned. Knows how to replace designated mechanical components of the system and may assist Maintenance as needed. Assist with other tasks as assigned. Experience and Skills Required High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure.
