This position will be managing a portfolio of delinquent customers and is tasked with incorporating relationship management into collections, maintaining the contract less than 30 days past due while promoting positive communication and strong relationships between VFS and the customer. This role requires a high sense of urgency, organizational skills, energy and multitasking in a fast past environment. The individual will work closely with all areas of the business including credit, customer service, repossession, remarketing, end of term, special assets, accounting, sales, legal and capital market resources. Occasional travel may be required. You will be part of an on-site team in Greensboro reporting to the Account Resolution Team Leader. Core Responsibilities: • Determine the cause of default or delinquency and, negotiate arrangements through payments, modifications, or repossession when warranted. • Contact customers to obtain financial information in order to make decisions based upon their delinquency or reasons of default. • Make discretionary decisions upon each account as to the likelihood of succeeding through the total obligation and assistance that will be needed through this process. • Prepare and direct all customer correspondence throughout delinquency period according to regulatory requirements. Recommend default remedies. • Administer insurance proceeds within guidelines to protect VFS assets, facilitate repairs in a timely manner and verify repairs are completed within guidelines. • Review and filter modification requests in order to route requests with merit to Special Asset. • Follow up on modifications post booking to ensure timely payments. • Provide information and updates as requested to Syndication department. • Verify and aid in correcting invalid Sec. of State status for corporate customers to protect VFS assets. • Maintain documentation in Artiva/Infolease to reflect current status of account. • Maintain customer contact to ensure each account is worked thoroughly. • Maintain Delinquency quota per guidelines. • Collect late fees along with past due payments to achieve department goals. • Assures compliance with collection, repossession, credit reference policies and legal requirements. • Additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Account Resolution Team Leader. • Audit compliance as deemed by Corporate Guidelines. What you will do Become a member of a fast paced, energetic, and crucial team at VFS. This position is responsible for supporting the Account Resolutions Team Manager in all phases of the retail account management and asset protection process for Volvo Financial Services USA (VFS USA) Trucks, Construction Equipment and Coach Portfolios. This position will be managing a partial block of delinquent customers as well as protecting and securing financed assets that are in default of the contractual obligation. This role requires a high sense of urgency, organizational skills, energy and multitasking in a fast past environment. This position will be cross-functional with primary responsibilities in Account Resolution and Repossession with flexibility to support other areas of Risk Operations. The individual will work closely with all areas of the business including credit, customer service, remarketing, end of term, special assets, accounting, sales, legal and capital market resources. You will be part of an on-site team in Greensboro, NC reporting to the Account Resolution Manager. Occasional travel may be required. Who are you? Do you dream big? In this role, you will bring: • BA/BS in business or related field preferred and/or equivalent related experienced would be considered. • 1-2 years progressive asset recovery, collections and repossession experience in commercial banking, consumer lending, or equipment leasing. • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional level, supporting other areas of the business and able to work under pressure producing timely work. • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to interact favorably with customers, dealers and the sales force to effectively manage accounts and maintain relationships. • Negotiation experience and comfort level with handling difficult conversations • Sound knowledge of local, state and federal regulations along with FDCPA guidelines regarding collections and repossessions. • Strong PC skills (MS Office) • Good financial counseling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the necessity of paying Volvo Financial Services. • A high level of integrity and a positive customer and quality focus with ability to work within and in support of a team environment. • Bilingual preferred. • Self-starter and ability to work independantly. For this position, the base pay is set at $53,700.00 - $66,400.00 annually, and where applicable, bonus eligible. Purpose of the Position The Executive Administrative Assistant position is part of the Service Operations North America management team. This position is primarily responsible to provide confidential executive-level administrative and managerial support to the Head of SONA, while also providing support to the rest of the management team as necessary. This is a pivotal role, combining traditional administrative support with business intelligence to help ensure the efficient operation of the Executive’s office by expertly managing projects, communications, and day-to-day administrative needs with professionalism and discretion. This position’s proactive support and attention to detail will help shape the effectiveness and culture of the leadership team and enable the Executive to focus their time on strategic leadership activities. This position reports to the Head of Service Operations NA and is based full-time on-site in Greensboro, NC. Essential Functions • Provide comprehensive and proactive executive administrative support to the Head of SONA with strict confidentiality. • Interact effectively with all levels of management, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. • Manage the flow of information to and from the Executive, ensuring they remain informed and that appropriate responses are initiated. • Manage the Executive’s calendar and coordinate meetings and other events to maximize efficiency. • Schedule SONA Management Team meetings, to include preparing agendas and associated materials and compiling meeting minutes and follow-up actions. • Act as liaison between the Executive and other members of the Management Team for informational and follow-up purposes. • Coordinate the Executive’s domestic and international travel in a precise manner. • Manage visits for the Executive, both on-site and off-site, including travel arrangements, agenda planning, presentations, and acting as the liaison for all participants. • Act as the primary point of contact for the Executive, including phone support and visitor management in a professional manner. • Manage key projects and initiatives within deadlines as assigned. • Support planning and logistics for internal and external meetings and events as required. • Track and prepare expense reports in a timely manner in accordance with company policy. • Maintain a professional working relationship with other administrative assistants. • Support other members of the Management Team as necessary. • Work on continuous improvement through the Volvo Performance System. • Lead and act according to Volvo values. Minimum Education and Experience • Associate’s degree in a business-related field preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required. • 7+ years of professional administrative experience. • 3+ years of significant experience supporting senior executives. • Experience working in a fast-paced, professional environment utilizing sound business judgement and flexibility to respond to shifting schedules and priorities, with minimal supervision. • Experience managing calendars for multiple individuals, including meeting coordination and prioritization of meeting requests and events. • Experience handling confidential information and maintaining the highest level of integrity and ethics.
