Sr Manager, Program - 18725 Description Description: Oversee the planning and execution of aircraft modification programs, including schedule, budget, engineering status, certification, supplier management and kit development. The Sr. Program Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee risk management and ensure on-time delivery of all engineering, supplier and certification milestones. What you will be responsible for: Review Statement of Work (SOW) for program and customer specific requirements. Lead and manage assigned programs, including overall program schedule, budget, engineering status, certification, supplier management and kit development. Coordinate engineering requirements with Director of Engineering and Project Engineer (as applicable) and monitor out of scope items to ensure projects remain within plan and budget. Identify, track and close action items resulting from meetings and reviews. Identify and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle, ensuring timely coordination and resolution of challenges. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, Buyers, Kitting/QC, manufacturing, certification organization/ODA, suppliers) to ensure compliance and successful program execution. Support customer and supplier kickoff and design review meetings. Provide regular program updates, status reports and review progress with management and recommend corrective actions. Serve as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external parties. Assist with preparing budget and estimates in response to customer change requests. All other duties as assigned. Occasional travel is required to meet with customers and suppliers. Able to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice (15%). Qualifications What you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent technical background. · At least seven years of engineering and/or program management and certification experience, with a proven track record of managing complex FAA/EASA STC projects. · Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage complex timelines, budgets and resources. Must be well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
