Maintenance Operations Representative

Description: Position Summary The Line Maintenance Operations Representative serves as the execution and coordination arm of the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager for all line maintenance activities throughout the 21Air network. This position is responsible for the day-to-day administration of contracted line maintenance providers, coordination of maintenance activities, station management, tracking of action items, vendor follow-up, and communication across the line maintenance network to support safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft maintenance operations. The role ensures line maintenance activities are properly coordinated, vendor obligations are fulfilled, operational issues are tracked through resolution, and aircraft maintenance support remains aligned with operational requirements. Strategic decisions, contract negotiations, vendor selection, cost ownership, vendor performance management, and executive escalations remain the responsibility of the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Line Maintenance Coordination Coordinate day-to-day activities with contracted line maintenance providers supporting the 21Air fleet. Monitor maintenance progress, vendor responsiveness, and aircraft status to support operational reliability and aircraft availability. Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned line maintenance providers. Coordinate maintenance support during scheduled operations, irregular operations, and aircraft recovery events. Communicatemaintenance status, estimated completion times, operational constraints, and operational risks to internal stakeholders. Contract Administration Administer existing line maintenance service agreements in accordance with approved contractual terms. Maintain vendor contact information, station support requirements, contract documentation, and service records. Review vendor invoices for contractual accuracy and completeness prior to management approval. Monitor contract deliverables and service level compliance and identify discrepancies requiring management review. Support implementation of new vendor agreements and contract amendments following management approval. Vendor Coordination and Follow-up Maintain regular communication with contracted line maintenance providers regarding ongoing maintenance activities. Track vendor performance against established service expectations. Follow up on open action items, corrective actions, and operational commitments through completion. Coordinate resolution of routine operational issues with contracted maintenance providers. Identify recurring vendor performance concerns and provide recommendations to the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager. Escalate unresolved operational, contractual, or performance issues requiring management intervention. Maintenance Execution Support Coordinate assigned line maintenance activities and monitor progress throughout execution. Track maintenance milestones and identify schedule risks affecting aircraft availability. Coordinate material requirements, engineering support, and vendor resources necessary to complete maintenance activities. Support aircraft return-to-service readiness by ensuring required maintenance documentation is complete. Assist in coordinating maintenance recovery activities during operational disruptions. Operational Coordination Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Engineering, Planning, Quality Assurance, Materials, Flight Operations, Finance, and contracted maintenance providers to support aircraft availability. Maintain visibility of aircraft status and communicate operational impacts to affected departments. Assist in coordinating recovery plans during maintenance delays or operational disruptions. Escalate significant technical, manpower, material, regulatory, or schedule risks to the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager. Documentation and Compliance Review maintenance documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company procedures, FAA regulations, and contractual requirements. Verify maintenance records, task cards, logbook entries, component documentation, deferred maintenance records, and return-to-service documentation are properly completed. Support audit readiness and follow up on corrective actions resulting from audits or compliance findings. Action Item Management Maintain and track open maintenance action items assigned to contracted line maintenance providers. Follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion of corrective actions and outstanding maintenance commitments. Maintain visibility of open issues affecting aircraft availability, vendor performance, or regulatory compliance. Provide routine status updates to the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager regarding outstanding action items. Escalate overdue or high-risk action items requiring management intervention. Station Management Maintain regular communication with assigned maintenance stations and contracted line maintenance providers. Conduct routine reviews of station performance to ensure compliance with contractual service levels and company expectations. Monitor station readiness, vendor coverage, tooling availability, response times, and maintenance support capabilities. Coordinate day-to-day operational support for assigned stations and ensure vendors are prepared to meet operational requirements. Identify station-level operational risks and recommend corrective actions to the Senior Maintenance Operations Manager. Support implementation of standardized maintenance processes and best practices across the line maintenance network. Coordinate follow-up of station audit findings, customer observations, and internal corrective actions through completion. Ensure assigned stations remain operationally prepared to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements. Requirements: Required Qualifications FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate preferred; required where assigned duties include return-to-service or certification authority. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive aviation maintenance experience in airline, cargo, line maintenance, heavy maintenance, maintenance control, or MRO environments. Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance activities, vendor communications, maintenance documentation, and aircraft return-to-service support. Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 43 maintenance requirements, Part 145 repair station operations, company manuals, aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, wiring manuals, and maintenance program requirements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities simultaneously. Ability to work independently while recognizing issues requiring management escalation. Technical Competencies Line maintenance coordination and aircraft maintenance execution. Vendor coordination and contract administration. Maintenance milestone tracking and aircraft status reporting. Maintenance documentation review and regulatory compliance. Invoice validation and contract compliance verification. Action item tracking and follow-up management. Station performance monitoring and vendor oversight. Cross-functional coordination across Maintenance Control, Engineering, Planning, Materials, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Operations. Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced maintenance environment. Work Environment and Expectations Work may be performed at maintenance bases, line stations, MRO facilities, hangars, aircraft parking locations, ramps, or contracted vendor locations. Travel may be required to support maintenance events, aircraft recoveries, station reviews, audits, vendor oversight activities, and operational support. The role may require flexibility to support irregular operations, aircraft-on-ground events, schedule recovery efforts, and urgent operational requirements. SMT Close Air Support SME- PT

Position Summary: MAG seeks a definitive source of knowledge from a Close Air Support SME who will contribute their expertise to enhance organizational efficiency. The candidate must be a current and qualified fighter pilot with combat deployments and experience with SOF ground units. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: Candidates must be highly experienced and proficient in the close air support mission. The candidate will evaluate organizational needs, determine suitable technical solutions, and ensure defined requirements. Conduct classroom instruction to SOF JTACs on weaponeering, airspace DE confliction measures and fighter aircraft capabilities. Conduct pre mission brief with Special Forces Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) and MAG flight crew prior to conducting dry CAS missions. Conduct dry CAS missions from MAG aircraft simulating fighter aircraft, but CAS SME, will not pilot MAG aircraft. CAS SME will have video feed from on-board sensor and communicate with JTACs via tactical comms conducting NTISR, Troops in Contact, convoy escort and variations of tactical scenarios. CAS SME will attend post mission debriefs/After Action Reviews with SOF JTACs, provide feedback on CAS controls, discuss best practices and lessons learned. Requirements: Minimum Requirements Current and qualified fighter pilot with combat deployments. Experience with SOF ground units. Combat Flying and CAS Mission Experience. The candidate must be highly experienced and proficient in the Close Air Support mission.
