What You Will Do - JOB SUMMARY The Fleet Category Buyer supports the development and execution of the fleet category strategy, delivering commercial value, operational performance, and compliant fleet solutions across assigned region. - WHAT YOU WILL DO • Implement the fleet category strategy across Americas. Ensuring that the strategy aligns with local policies and regional regulations. • Act as the category subject‑matter expert for fleet and mobility in region • Accountability and ownership for regional category plan • Build and maintain strong working relationships internally with business stakeholders and externally with key service providers to influence at a strategic level • Provide insights and recommendations to support continuous improvement of the category. • Lead or support tendering and sourcing initiatives, e.g. vehicle supply, leasing and maintenance. • Deliver cost savings and value creation through negotiation and fleet specification optimisation. • Manage pricing mechanisms, benchmarking, and contract compliance. • Analyse total cost of ownership and identify improvement opportunities. • Manage day‑to‑day relationships with fleet management company / suppliers and service providers. • Track and manage supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contract obligations. • Ensure method alignment with other regional fleet category managers • Own operational fleet management delivery through managing outsourced supplier delivery • Ensure robust governance and risk management, and fleet standards and specifications globally, balancing cost, operational needs, safety, sustainability brand requirements.
