Description: Perform various materials handling as well as shipping and driving duties to prepare and deliver products to the customers' facilities. Responsibilities Receive rolls of material from expeditors and move into inventory according to directions. On a daily basis, obtain pick sheet for shipments and use computer scanner to make entries. Locate rolls of material to be shipped and verify correctness by matching the pick sheet information to the identification sticker on the material roll. If order has not been approved, contact QC lab for approval. Load/unload trucks as required. Verify shipments both incoming/outgoing. Load material onto designated carrier. Transfer information in scanner to main computer and generate bill of lading. Arrange inventory using the FIFO system. Pick raw material from inventory. Rearrange warehouse as needed.
