Overview: The Sr. Apprentice, Aviation Maintenance Technician (SAAMT) for our team. The successful candidate has earned either the Airframe or the Powerplant Certificate and is expected to pursue the remaining certificate to become a fully certificated Airframe and Powerplant mechanic when eligible. The SAAMT will support large-scale aerial survey operations. Primary responsibility will be in support of the company's inventory systems, including but not limited to daily efforts to ship, receive, and route all incoming and outgoing, and all other inventory operations at the facility. The right candidate will assist with aircraft maintenance preplanning to source and acquire parts in a timely manner, and work with other Pacific Fleet Aviation and supplier locations. Responsible for performing required inventory cycle counts and other duties as assigned. Collateral responsibilities include interfacing with AMTs, following established best practices for aircraft and camera system maintenance, and performing supervised maintenance and installations in accordance with FAA regulations. The candidate will also be responsible for repairs, modifications, periodic maintenance, and service of aircraft under the supervision of a Federal Aviation Association (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) mechanic in accordance with Part 91 operations. Other responsibilities include maintaining a commitment to safety and compliance with Eagleview's safe work practices. This is a full-time, onsite role at our Burlington, NC hangar with an hourly rate of $22-$27/hr. Responsibilities: Work independently to function as the primary point of contact for all facility inventory operations. Work independently to execute all daily inventory functions. Work under the supervision of a team of AMTs to maintain a fleet of piston engine aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR Part 91 operations. Work under the supervision of a team of AMTs repairing aircraft accessory parts. Perform supervised servicing and maintenance tasks associated with routine and non-routine maintenance. Troubleshoot and assess cause and effect of discrepancies, abnormalities, or safety concerns and report findings to the supervising AMT or AMT Team Lead as applicable. Complete appropriate reports and documentation as required. Work under the supervision of a team of AMTs to remove and install camera equipment per EV, PFA, and FAA guidelines and requirements. Complete all documentation of aircraft work in accordance with PFA, EV, and FAA Policies and Standards. When eligible, pursue certification of the remaining certificate (Airframe or Powerplant) to become a fully certificated A&P Mechanic. Travel to off-site facilities when necessary to perform supervised maintenance on aircraft. Assist with inventory and shipping as necessary. Perform tasks to maintain hangar and facilities to 6S standards. Perform all tasks to a high standard of safety that meets or exceeds all PFA, FAA, and OSHA requirements. Successfully complete all required compliance training. Other duties as assigned.
