Experience: Previous experience in fuel delivery or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations regarding hazardous materials transportation. Training: Completion of safety and hazardous materials training programs. First aid and CPR certification may be beneficial. Skills: Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to navigate and use GPS systems for efficient routing. Basic mechanical skills for vehicle inspections and minor repairs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy fuel hoses and equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed. Ability to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods during loading and unloading. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Working Conditions: This position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on delivery schedules. Drivers spend a significant amount of time on the road and may experience long hours. May be exposed to noise, fumes, and varying weather conditions.
