Responsibilities of a Health Information Manager: This position provides professional expertise on health information, documentation, and medical record issues. The role supports our Long-term Care, Assisted Living, and Transitional Rehab neighborhoods. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, functioning as the key resource for electronic clinical records, HIPAA, accurate diagnosis coding, reviews and verifies insurance for admissions, attends Medicare A and Triple Check meetings, ensures compliance with regulations, and manages clinical record systems and indexes. Candidates should have credentials as an RHIA or RHIT, experience in long-term care, knowledge and application of Medicare and Medicaid payment systems, and ICD-10 coding. Candidates must also have a genuine passion for serving others, must embrace and successfully contribute to the interdisciplinary team, have excellent clinical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills, while upholding outstanding relationships with residents, representatives, and the care team. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. Our Operation’s workflow has three major components: First mile - where the product is housed and ready for order; Middle mile - where the order is hauled to your area; and Last mile - when the product is delivered to the customer’s door. Our fulfillment network launches new Operations sites every year, providing various opportunities for your professional growth.
